Table top game schedule Saturday 9am- 2pm Invasion from the Planet of the Tarrasques (Kaiju D&D game) TABLE 1 Halaster Blackcloak, the Mad Mage of Undermountain, always has a contingency in place. As long as Undermountain remains beneath the city of Waterdeep, Halaster can never truly die within its walls, for the dungeon rebuilds the mage’s bodyon the rare occasions when adventurers “kill” Halaster. Halaster realized that if adventurers destroyed all of Undermountain, he would lose his immortality. To further protect his life, Halaster took some of the rooms and halls of Undermountain and flung them across the multiverse, including other worlds of the Material Plane. With Undermountain spread across existence, the task of permanently killing Halaster is even more difficult. Unfortunately for the mage, a party adventurersrecently killed him in his dungeon beneath the City of Splendors. When Halaster’s body reformed, he found himself in Falx, another world of the Material Plane inhabited entirely by enormous, carnivorous monsters with endless appetites. These scaly bipeds areclosely related to the tarrasque, an infamous monstrosity feared across the worlds of the Material Plane. Tier 2; 3-7 players (pregens available; some Dnd knowledge recommended) 9am-10am King of New York (Kaiju Boardgame) TABLE 2 There's always something happening in the city that never sleeps. Maybe it's the lights, maybe it's the energy, or maybe it's the giant monsters trying to demolish the place! King of New York is a standalone game from designer Richard Garfield that keeps the core ideas of King of Tokyo while introducing new ways to play. As in KoT, your goal is to be the first monster to collect 20 victory points (VPs) or to be the last monster standing. On your turn, you roll six dice up to three times, then carry out the actions on those dice. Claws cause damage to other monsters, hearts heal damage to yourself, and energy is stored up so that you can purchase power cards that provide unique effects not available to anyone else. What's new in King of New York is that you can now try to become a star in the big city; more specifically, you can achieve "Fame", which nets you VPs, but superstar status is fleeting, so enjoy your time in the spotlight. 2-6 players Age 10+ 9am-8pm Open gaming TABLE 3A We will have folks ready to assist in learning the games you check out from the Kaiju game library. 9am-8pm Open gaming TABLE 3B Have we mentioned we have a Kaiju game library? 9am-8pm Open gaming TABLE 4A Even Geoff, our president, who also runs a game convention, was surprised at how many Kaiju games there are currently in production. 9am-8pm Open gaming TABLE 4B Each Table will have a schedule on it, so you’ll know what’s being played there all weekend. 1030am-1130am Godzilla Smash (Kaiju Boardgame) TABLE 2 Something really big is happening in the big apple. Godzilla is on the rampage. He's racing around the streets of New York looking for lunch and a quick crunch. Dodge toppling buildings and the monster's claw to avoid getting squished. Escape the city first with two of your vehicles to win the game. This unique game uses playdoh to make cars planes and tanks, when smashed by Godzilla they stay in the spot there were on the board when smashed. A great game for kids from 6-80. 2-4 players Age 6+ 12pm-1pm Godzilla Card Game (Kaiju Cardgame) TABLE 2 The Godzilla Card Game uses the Chrono Clash turn and resource system, which allows players to strategically use their resources and accurately represents the flow of real battles, with momentum shifting from player to player as they choose the best time to throw their big moves! Lie in wait by setting sneaky traps for your opponent, or seize the initiative for a game-ending attack! 2-4 players Age 6+ 130pm-330pm Ultraman Monopoly (Kaiju Boardgame) TABLE 2 It's Monopoly but with an Ultraman theme. 2-8 players Age 6+ 1230pm -230pm Monsters Menace America (Kaiju Boardgame) TABLE 1 As a giant monster, stomping cities is what you do. Joshua Jon Dahl Josh is a custom miniature modeler from the tiny town of Mead, Nebraska. Perhaps it is ironic then that he prefers working on large iconic cities, but in a tiny scale. He has built dioramas for cities such as New York, San Francisco, Chicago, London, Berlin, Paris, and Washington, just to name a few. The cities are just the right size for a four inch tall Kaiju to feel right at home. One of Josh's custom cities is going to build and put on display just for K.A.I.J.U. Con. They take a long time to set up, so wish him luck. Josh is planning to walk anyone who attends the Kaiju in 3D panel through the process of making their own display and will have resources on hand that will make the process simple. He has a database of over a thousand custom building designs he has put together over the years and assures us, it's easier than it looks. Most of the buildings featured in Josh's displays are built from scratch by hand. He also occasionally builds custom figures and does some painting. His dioramas are not limited to just monsters and buildings though. You want G-force to show up to carry the fight? No problem, you'll see tanks, Masers, and even the Super-X line. Need to call in the Navy for backup? You got it! Josh has made custom figures for action on the high seas and a fleet ready for battle. Need the Air-force to take to the sky? Give the word and fighter jets and choppers will be on the scene! Want to see a particular monster? Josh has collected or built almost every cannon Godzilla character in the proper scale to show up in his displays and even a few non-cannon ones too. So, if you are looking for a fantasy grudge match or one of the "classic" monster on monster throw downs we all grew up with, you won't be disappointed! Jon LeGrand aka LeGrandzilla Jon builds models and dioramas of giant monsters like Godzilla, he also sculpts and does oil and acrylic paintings. Jon goes to G-Fest, a Godzilla Con every year and enters his work in the modeling and art contests. Jon has had an article and pics of his work published in G-Fan Magazine. Sarah Bernard-Stevens, owner of Pop Sculpture Designs Pop Sculpture Designs is owned by Sarah Bernard-Stevens. Originally from Alliance, NE, Sarah is a life-long fan of animation, monsters and sci-fi! Sarah has always enjoyed drawing and crafting, so taking up sculpture several years ago didn’t present too steep of a learning curve. Currently, as Pop Sculpture Designs, Sarah does a lot of commission work and enjoys the challenge of working in a variety of different styles. Sarah’s favorite commissions are of customer’s original characters, because it’s fun to bring a character “off the page”. Sarah’s favorite thing to make are large sculpts of monsters! Bruce Crawford (Saturday Only) Bruce Crawford is a film historian, documentary producer and promoter and organizer of film tributes here in Omaha, Nebraska. He also is a writer, lecturer and entrepreneur. It is his love of the great film scores that first garnered him national attention. Bruce is also a life long friend of Ray Harryhausen, and will be telling us about his friend and will give a talk about Beast from 20000 Fathoms as part of the viewing of the Movie.

Andrew's Clay Creations and More Kaiju Assault Kaiju Assault is a Kaiju themed card game designed by fans with a passion, and that passion is watching GIANT creatures beat the snot out of each other. Owners Brandon and Jack took what they observed from the classic, and not so classic films and worked for years to emulate them in a card game. Unlike video games, card games can be played anywhere, any place, and at any time. After the mechanics of the game were built from the ground up, and proven fluid, it was time to design all original kaiju. This process took several years but the goal of creating original monsters, that were not Chinese bootlegs of the classics, was not easy though with help from fellow Kaijuphile Alan, allowed for a fresh take on a classic genre, creating a game that is all new from the ground up, from gameplay to monster roster. This is Kaiju Assault. A game for ages 7+ and good for up to 4 players off of the starter pack. Feel the Assault. Play the Assault. Kaiju Assault. http://kaijuassault.wix.com/kaijuassaultcardgame Mystical Warriors of the Ring Mystical Warriors of the Ring is a 1 1/2-2″ toyline created independently. The basic concept and designs are by Mark Vasquez, however the 2D artistic duties are handled by his great friend in India Jazyl Homavazir (Creator of indie comic Beast Legion ), sculpting is handled by the incredibly talented Simon Grell , and prototyping/production is handled by Mark's friend of 10+ years Marty “THEGODBEAST” Hansen .
